“Fellfields” is an area of mountainous terrain consisting mostly of rocks and small tundra plants past the tree line. When you come across the fellfields while hiking a mountain, it usually means you’re relatively close to the summit. This piece incorporates uneven rhythms from Nordic folk music through constantly shifting meter and accent.
